i have a theory that "being too smart for your own good" roughly translates to "underestimating the layered complexity of the social landscape composed of people of mostly average intelligence"
@Elmkast by being smart enough to live and be fulfilled by thought constructs rather than reality they end up disconnected from the ground truth.
And so when they outgrow themselves and their wings and start to fall. They must flap more and more furiously...into the sun.
