neuroscience question:

What does it mean to say that thoughts are 7-dimensional structures in the brain? (as I've seen in headlines of new scientist articles that I am too cheap to pay for)

I'm familiar with 3 spacial dimensions, and a 4th time one. Time crystals are 4-dimensional structures in that they repeat like animated gifs. So viewed in 4 dimensions they're static.

What are the next 3 dimensions in this model? Are they things like magnetic intensity, rate of repeating etc?

neuroscience question:

or are they abstract dimensions, where they aren't attached to a real world phenomena, it just makes it easier to say, this structure is 7 X, 4 Y, 3 Z, 2 W, 12 A, 3 B, 6 C ?
