If there's a mass reduction in air travel, what happens to the climate in the short term? We're losing the cooling effect that the contrails create when they increase the earth's albedo (reflectiveness)

@KingMob Is that actually a thing? I usually run away from anyone who talks about contrails, just in case it's another mind-control chemicals conspiracy theory.

@machado yes it is, simulations have suggested that we get about -0.5°c cooling from the increased water vapour in the atmosphere that planes put out

I hope it will at least even out with the short term impacts of slowing down industrial production.

@machado yes, given there's not a lot we can do about it in the meantime, let's hope for that.
