If something takes 100 cycles to “get” it’s usually not worth finding some magic to reduce it to 10 cycles. Creating a cargo cult around it that increases it to 1000 cycles actually is more effective. Instead of potentially wasting 10 cycles people feel that every ONE cycle brings them closer to that goodie at the end of the rainbow.
In general, you can’t build a solid foundation b/c solid foundations are boring. You gotta peak above the clouds and fall back down to gain the necessary drive.
