After thinking for years that I needed to take better notes on what was going on with friends, reading this finally got me to try it out. Basically I set up MonicaHQ in Docker. Does anyone else do something similar?

@bkam I'm using MonicaHQ, eventually getting round to writing integrations for it ... one day 🙃

@kureshii It seems to have a lot of semi-redundant features, and to be going through quite rapid change at the moment. Do you mainly put info in notes? Or do you use calls/activities/conversations?

@bkam Mainly just notes, and the occasional conversation. I agree there's a lot of duplication of features that exist elsewhere, e.g. reminders. But the biggest thing that's lacking for me at the moment is contacts integration, so I'm not using it heavily at the moment.
