I need to work on my shitposting. It’s a very underdeveloped skill. 🏋️🏻♂️💩
Regarding Google linking Chrome's sign-in state with folks' Google sign-in state: This was the RIGHT move for MOST people. Having two sign-in states was THE thing that confused people about Chrome.
It's bad for techies & privacy hawks. But for everyone else it's a usability win.

Ideological sorting by occupation, lots of data on how occupations lean one way or the other. Only a little speculation as to why. https://theotherlifenow.com/occupations-and-their-ideologies/ #heyfeedfox

@Bert I think social anxiety is similar to flight anxiety in that often both are nonsensical, and looking for a reason why you have it and someone else doesn't (or seems like they don't) is risky.
In both cases, your mind/body tense up because it believes it's under threat. It isn't, and you "know" that but you can't stop your subconscious from telling you "BAD BAD STAY AWAY".
So I'm wary to indulge anxiety like that and give it a reason or enter the anxiety's "mind hole"

It's weird to me that we consider "sticking to your principles" as a virtue.
If someone has shitty principles, then sticking to them doesn't make them a better person.
Found an interesting spam/scam scheme today:
- Attacker posts their link that redirects to a legit news article
- Twitter resolves the redirect to news article
- Twitter hides link from Tweet and displays Twitter Card with news domain
- Attacker changes redirect to spam site
The Tweet now displays a legit looking Twitter Card with the news website domain, but actually goes to the scammer.
