Sleep, for the working class
I’m glad that we’re learning how important sleep is for our physical/mental/ emotional/spiritual health.
But I’m not glad that all these findings, no matter how profound, will NEVER trickle down to the lower levels of society.
Example: I work in a factory that operates 24/7.
I’m just imagining how our MD would respond if someone suggested altering working conditions so his staff could sleep as humans are supposed to. He’d laugh.
