This guy is a genius, he's very good at methodically explaining difficult concepts, and he's applying his brilliance to a goal which barely makes sense to anybody except him.

Not only did he find a bunch of bugs that Nintendo QA missed, not only did he reverse-engineer the hell out of them, he used them to create a new, much harder game-within-a-game.

Just imagine one of the Super Mario 64 programmers watching this video!
