GDRP first blood! This mechanism of individual requests/delete actions is begging for a DDoS exploit. If 1000 people demand such deletion, I'll lose several days complying. Hope Mailchimp and other services automate this stuff more.

@vgr It gets infinitely worse. Every small business that keeps costumer records suddenly needs a data security expert and a whole lot of unreasonable expenses. Given the minimum value for fines, you can basically bankrupt any non-tech small-business in europe by demanding compliance.

@vgr There's a reason a law demanding retraction of retroactively "private" data was a poor idea to begin with. In Europe, enforcers, I mean censors, will waste years combing the net for every mention of someone's name as soon as they want it removed
